Already as a first year student at the Berlin drama school MTSB, Kalle Perlmutter was cast as Wagner in the film adaption of Goethes Faust, which premiered 2020 at the Berlinale.
Shortly after graduating, he landed his first series regular on funk’s comedy mockumentary King of Westberg.
That was soon to be followed by roles in both german and danish tv productions including DRUCK / SKAM Germany (ZDFneo) and FREDERIK IX (DR).

During his theatre studies, Kalle worked with acclaimed directors and actors including Justus Carrière, Paul Weismann and Ilse Ritter.
In 2021 he was nominated as “Best Actor” at BARCIFF Barcelona for Christian B. Frederiksen’s “Father of Storm”.
Fluent in both German, Danish and English, Kalle performs his own translated versions of english languaged pop hits.
Kalle plays piano and guitar, and his passion for music has also led to acting work in music videos for artists such as Ásgeir, Lisa Bassenge, Folkeklubben, Andrew Bayer and Asbjørn.
In 2023 he celebrated his 15th anniversary as presenter at the annual children’s festival “Callisto Festival”.
